Sexual Child Abuse Abroad

Encryption, official documents and secrecy

The form is encrypted. That means that no one else can see what you send to the Police via the form; only the Police can see it. The level of encryption depends on how modern your web browser is.

Once the Police receive your document, it becomes an official document. That means that the email may be disclosed on request, as long as it does not contain information that is classified as secret.

This form can be used to inform the Swedish Police. The information you provide will be sent directly to a specialized unit within the Swedish National Police. The unit investigates sexual abuse of children in other countries when the suspected perpetrator is a Swedish citizen or a Swedish resident.

The information you provide will be evaluated and processed. If the suspicions are strong enough, an investigation may be started.

You have the right to inform us anonymously, but it may affect the investigation if we are not able to follow up the information provided.
